If you mention the term "furry" to any typical individual on the internet, chances are that they will be either (a)confused, (b)disgusted, or (c)horrified. This begs the question: "Why have people made such a big deal out of this whole "furry" thing?"
My Thoughts:
I believe that there are people who are bound to be uncomfortable with furries simply because of the various perversions associated with them. However, no one is forcing you to look at any of their artwork and/or animations.
Besides, I have found, through my experiences, that not all furry artists are exactly the same. Some might specialize in inflation pics while others happen to be dedicated animators with actual purposes in mind.
Perhaps what drives certain individuals to become furries is a unique means of expression. What are the odds that someone who personifies themselves as a fox or a wolf believe that what they are doing is not strange at all?
In conclusion, if you do not like furries at all then I would just advise you to stay away from them. Otherwise, encounter them at your own risk.
